Now Scamming on WhatsApp

Image
Sooo.... Apparently I am a magnet for these Chinese scammers!!! I randomly got a message on WhatsApp in Chinese. I Google translated it and it basically said "Hi Gina, I got your number from ....... I am interested in buying a property." I pretty much wrote back and was like I am not Chinese and I am not Gina. I pretty much deleted our messages as we went along because I knew I didn't want to speak with this guy, but he kept persisting.  Stats:  Chinese Lives in California Has been in the States for 3 years Apparently looking to buy a place  So I asked him if he was looking to buy a place in Toronto because he messaged a 416 number. He said housing prices in Toronto is too high... Yet, he can afford to buy a place in Cali? Assuming he's looking to buy in SF or LA? Toronto housing prices are expensive, but you can always look outside of Toronto. Anyways, he seemed shady anyways. He kept asking me what he should call me, instead of saying, "what's your name?...

Why so serious?

Sooo.. Apparently I am not supposed to ask out guys... Stats: Chinese Works for his uncle because his uncle is sick and the uncle only has a daughter who is still in high school Drives a Mercedes S450 Came to Canada about 5 years ago Has a sister and parents are in China One thing I admired about this guy was that he seemed to have great work ethics. He seems to work hard because he wants to provide a better life for himself, his family, and take care of his family back home. He sees it as his responsibility to take care of his parents, instead of taking care of this parents with his sister. He kept talking about a better life for him and his family, which I understand; he is in the hustle. I felt like our conversation was going well, so I thought I would suggest that we meet up. Since I have an opening this weekend, I thought, "hey why not?". My next opening in my calendar is December. The response I got back from him was, pretty much, if I was available I would have asked ...

WOW Scam Sham Part 2 - Not This Time!

Image
Wow, I didn't think I would get scammed again.... But then again when it happened, it was around this time.  "Stats": Asian Born in China Raised by Grandmother is San Francisco  Moved to Toronto earlier this year Works out at the gym 6 times a week Power Tech - Works for a wind turbine company?! The reason why I think this guy is a scammer is because of the following. He gave me his full name and his date of birth wayyyy to easily. Name Mark Teng, date of birth July 4, 1981. If this guy turns out to be a legit guy, I will obviously take this down. The way he told me his birthday was 04/07/1981, at first looking at this, I would have thought it was April 7, because that is how we write dates in North America, we write, month day year.. Everywhere else around the world writes day month year. The only reason why I realized it was July was because he told me he was a Cancer sign. I gave him my birthday, but without the year, but online it has my age, so it's easy to cal...

Date with Ditched for McDonalds

Since I ditched this guy for McDonalds, I felt like I was obligated to meet him this week. My lashes and nails were janky so I had to fix up before meeting him. Profile Stats: Works for a start up White (based on picture)? It was a beach picture so he looked tanned Hair His profile picture was a topless beach picture Lives in High Park This is the types of guys Kelly would NEVER swipe right for. Our conversations never got really deep, our conversations were very service level. The way he speaks, I thought he was actually Crush Trainer to the point I was going to message Crush Trainer and say, "if you are fucking with me I am going to kill you!" But on the other hand, Crush Trainer doesn't have time to fuck around like that. One thing I should have asked for is a more recent pictures. I remember a few years ago, I swiped right on a guy who I thought was a white male with reddish hair. Once we traded pictures it turned out I was being cat-fished and it was actually a middl...

Seriously... Why in 3s?

Image
1. Chinese Fob 2. Korean Hot Dog 3. Some guy named Chris 1. This Chinese Fob was interesting... He was super needy. Wanted to talk everyday messaged me everyday. Wanted to know what I was doing every minute of the day. If I didn't message he would write a billion messages asking me if I was ok. OMGGG!!!! He also said he hasn't traveled much would love to go to Greece for his honeymoon.. He was just too needy for me. I don't know why I even swipe right on these Chinese fobs. The miscommunication is fucking annoying. Case and point the conversation. He fucking said he still lived with his family. When I copied his text he calls me a liar? And yes, his name was Sandy. But he was the bigger person and said lets stop chatting if I wasn't interested. Thank God, because he was on his way of being ghosted. 2. Korean Hot Dog - the reason why I call him that is because he brings Korean Hot Dogs to Toronto to franchise them. There is no real update on this guy. I guess he just gho...

Why in 3s?

As mentioned before one of my friend's, Kelly and her husband are doing online dating for me. They first started with Bumble, where they met, but had no luck. Now they moved onto Coffee Meets Bagel. They have been now transferred into my care. The three potential suitors are 1. Tibetan Caterer 2. Downtown Start Up 3. Weird vibes; side note, when Crush Trainer told me he was going on a date this weekend, that crushed me! It looks like I started to write this and I stopped. Since starting this couple of things. Crush trainer didn't end up going on that date! YAY! BUT! Recently he had offered me to drive me to the airport for my business trip. He was going to come pick me up at 5 in the morning! YAY! I of course did that whole "no you don't have to", but I wasn't going to push back. So, it was set. The day of I message him at 5amET to let him know that I was ready and that I was waiting for him downstairs. He messages me back and said he was leaving the house no...
