Hopeful

So, I haven't gone out on date since my break up with Kangta. There is a story to follow, but it will be posted once everything is resolved and figured out.

While I was dating Kangta my friend who was visiting from Seattle told me that his mother wanted to hook me up with someone, but at that time I declined because I was seeing Kangta. Once I broke it off with Kangta, I waited about a week and said, "Alldark tell your mom I'm BACK ON THE MARKET!!"

Nothing happened for a while. Until one fateful day my friend's mom texts me and says, "Suzy, It's Alldark's mom. Can you please call me?" I thought it was an emergency and that something had happened to Alldark.  So, I frantically call his mom....... She says to me how she has this REALLY nice guy for me to meet. I agreed to meet with him.. Alldark had given me a breakdown of this guy:

• Korean
• Works for BCG in Boston
• Older

So, the first thing I did was Facebook him.. I wonder how people stalked their blind dates prior to Facebook?

When I met him the first thing I thought was "SHITTTT!!! This guy is SHORT!" with my heels on I was I swear a head taller (in reality, probably to my eyes). No wonder my friend's mom was EMPHASIZING how nice this guy was. But I thought the date went ok. The guy was SUPER Nice.

Although there was no attraction I felt optimistic. There are still good guys out there, but unfortunately they are not in Toronto!
